The Riau Archipelago, which is one of the outermost provinces with direct borders with neighboring countries, makes it an area to be considered for the future, but it seems that some people who depend on nature are not able to understand it.
This event is a running sports competition activity which is held on a small island on the east side of Bintan Island with the concept of running through residential areas, forests, beaches and beaches, namely Mapur Island, Bintan Regency, Riau Islands Province.
The purpose of this program is expected to become an annual agenda, and make Mapur Island a tourism destination based on nature conservation and designation as a Marine Tourism Village by the District Government Bintan.
Event participants and local communities are involved in releasing captive turtle hatchlings, planting coral reefs in marine waters with an adoption system (naming/tagging) and enjoying the beauty of the clam park by snorkeling. This Kima Park is the result of a joint initiative with the Mapur Island community, whose main profession is traditional fishing in the context of building and fostering tourism-based empowerment of coastal communities in Bintan Regency.
