As part of its Women's Empowerment and Mangrove Ecosystem Restoration Program, Yayasan Ecology Riau Islands (YEKR) in collaboration with Bank Riau Kepri (BRK) Syariah held a Digital Business and Financial Management Training activity for women's groups in Berakit Village. The event occurred at Berakit Village Hall and was attended by 55 participants from five community groups, including Pokmaswas Srikandi, KUEP Melati, KUEP Tenggiri, KUM Panglong, and representatives from YEKR.

The training aimed to increase participants' capacity in managing micro businesses digitally and professionally, while strengthening their understanding of the importance of sharia-based financial management. BRK Syariah as a resource person delivered material on digital marketing strategies, utilization of social media for business promotion, the basics of micro business finance, and access to capital that is friendly to women business actors.

In addition to material delivery, the activities also included practical sessions and the handover of collective account books to the groups as a form of support for transparent and accountable management of business funds. The training encouraged participants to start integrating environmental sustainability values into business plans, such as mangrove-based product development and educational tour packages.

This activity not only strengthens women's position as local digital economy actors, but also fosters financial awareness, solidarity between business groups, and a shared commitment to protecting the mangrove ecosystem. With this training, Berakit Village continues to emphasize its identity as an ecotourism village driven by women's initiatives and the spirit of environmental conservation.
